Why buy a boat when you can sail a Fleet ?

Becoming a member of Shelter Island Sailing is a smart, economical alternative to the high costs and hassles of boat ownership.  A boat owner must contend with huge out-of-pocket expenses (mortgage payments, insurance, slip fees, dive service, etc.) and invest a great deal of time for cleaning and maintenance whether they sail the boat or not.  Club members only pay for their boat when they're on-board, having fun.  They enjoy low cost sailing without the headaches.  Club dues for one year cost less than slip fees for one month!

In addition to  sailing a variety of well equipped and maintained yachts  whenever they wish, Club Members participate in Free Day-Sails, Clinics, Classes, BBQs, Social Activities and enjoy low Member Charter Fees, Free Early Boarding Privileges and Member Rate Specials.  We have reciprocal Sailing Club privileges at locations nationwide.

Membership / Instruction Fees:Members out for the Day
